SAMHSA2024 Rally for Recovery
Celebrate Recovery During Recovery Month
National Recovery Month is an annual observance held every September to promote awareness of the power of recovery from mental health and substance use conditions. Recovery events are celebrated around the nation and the world. Recovery Month is intended to counter stigma and instill hope in the American public that recovery is real and possible.
On September 5th, SAMHSA’s Office of Recovery is hosting the Second Annual Walk for Recovery to celebrate the millions of Americans in recovery and recognize the contributions and accomplishments of people in recovery, their loved ones, and allies.
Directly following the Walk, at 3:30pm ET, we will begin the livestream on this page to hear from a number of advocacy organizations and musical artists to celebrate the work that's being done to advance recovery. We hope you'll join us remotely, if you can't be there in person!
