Since its inception in January 2011, the Institute of Medicine Committee on the Public Health Dimensions of the Epilepsies has worked to develop a report that will recommend actions needed in topic areas including surveillance, prevention, health care and human services, and education of health providers, people with epilepsy and their families, and the public.

The IOM will hold a public briefing to discuss its new report on the public health dimensions of the epilepsies on March 30 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the National Academies Keck Center in Washington, DC.
